 What
can you do with the Maya Road Square Binder Books?
Here's what Kent Nichols did!!!
Maya Road Address Book!
By Kent Nichols
Does Maya Road make it easy for you or what? I used one of their
4x4 inch binder albums and went to their website www.mayaroad.com
and downloaded printable address book inserts, inked the edges and
adhered them to the inside chipboard pages! They also offer journal,
calendar and planner inserts in various sizes for each of their
binder albums. Those are some smart people over at Maya Road!
For the cover I used Heidi Grace paper. I loved the combo of colors
and it even says friends and family on it! I also used the new felt
border from Queen and Co! You get 3 feet of felty cuteness in one
container! I wrapped the felt floral border around the outside of
the binder. I used glossy accents to adhere it to the paper and
I inserted brads and glued acrylic jewels to the flowers. I also
made a little "friends and family" tag and attached it
to the felt border with a brad. I wanted to make the inside as cute
as the outside so I tied ribbons to the binder clips and I made
a little pocket so I could tuck in a list of important dates or
reminders.
This makes the cutest gift or you can make two and keep one for
yourself!!

 What
can you do with the Bare Elements Octagonal Jewelry Box?
Here's what Kent Nichols did!!!
Altered Bare Elements Octagonal Jewelry Box
By Garage Girl, Kent
When Suzy had
the Bare Element items available at the Anniversary Crop in October,
I immediately scooped up a couple of items because I knew they would
make gifts. I altered the octagonal jewelry box for my niece's Christmas
present and I loved how it turned out. You can customize it to any
kind of decor. I used My Mind's Eye Magnolia line paper. I loved
the color combo and "funkiness" of it and thought it would
work for a teenager's room. I measured each of the panels and cut
strips of paper to fit. I used modge podge to adhere the paper to
the box and also applied an additional coat on top. For the top
of the box and the inside octagons, I traced the outline of the
cover on paper and used that as a template (you'll have to make
the octagons smaller for the inside "drawers". Lastly,
I modge podged strips of paper around each drawer and added fun
ribbon around the top of the cover with glue dots.

 What
can you do with the ProvoCraft Lunch Pail Tins?
Here's what Kent Nichols did!!!
Altered Lunch Pail Tin
By Garage Girl, Kent
When I saw my
friend Stephanie's blog and her cut baby gifts made out of lunch
pail tins, I just had to make one and put my own spin on it. I used
the lunch pail tins from Provo craft that Suzy has at the Garage.
I used various coordinating scrapbook papers and adhered them to
the tin with Modge Podge (I covered the inside lid as well). I adhered
ribbon inbetween the two strips of paper and tied a bow. I painted
the top of the tin and coated it with Modge Podge so it would not
scrap off. Here is the fun part- I cut out various letters from
scrapbook paper for the word "Baby's" (chipboard letters
would be awesome on this too) and adhered them to the tin. Then
I used rub on letters for the word "keepsakes". I also
attached ribbon to the handle There are so many cute things you
can do with this idea and so many different embellishments would
look adorable like flowers, chipboard shapes etc. I made this tin
for Garage Girl, Sylvia who just had a baby girl and tucked inside
a handmade sweater. She can use the tin later to keep momentos like
the hospital bracelet, baby cap or cards from family and friends.
I have also seen where a tin like this with dividers inside can
hold baby's photos for each month so they are easily stored until
they are scrapped. The ideas are endless for this fun project!

 What
can you do with the Making Memories 8-inch Chipboard Letters?
Here's what Erin Yamabe did!!!
first, i selected the patterned
papers. being a basic grey lover, their baby girl line was an easy
choice for me. i adhered the letters onto the papers and then using
my exacto knife, cut them out.
once that part was done, i started
adding...
i mixed old and new embellishments,
all over these letters. added some making memories textured stickers,
all kinds of ribbon, some staples, prima flowers, making memories
flowers, some creative imagination epoxy stickers, mrs grossman's
crystals, mm metal sayings, and brads.
for the word "love" that
floats in the center of the "O", i covered the chipboard
basic grey letters with the patterned paper, and then again, using
the exacto knife, cut out the excess. i placed the letters "love"
on top of eachother, securing them with brads.

 What
can you do with a Sarabinder?
Here's what Victoria Fassano did!!!
Victoria Fassano created
this lovely journal as a birthday gift for her dear friend Melissa
who is a quilting enthusiast. The basis for the journal is the Sarabinder
system. She used the pocket pages for dividing the sections of the
journal, the dividers to highlight each quilting project within
the journal and the lined pages to fill the journal. The Daisy D’s
Heirloom Attic paper, die cut and sticker collection was a perfect
choice to carry the theme with its beautiful patterns lifted directly
from Moda quilting fabrics. She also used several embellishments
from Jolee’s , Mrs. Grossman’s laser cut lace stickers,
buttons, ribbons and pins to carry the quilting theme.
